Terms of this service are subject to Cognigen policies and its carriers' tariffs. State-to-State rates,In-State rates, and minimum usage fee may vary based on your location. Up to 100 free state-to-state minutes will be credited on your sixth month's bill. Calls to HI, AK, PR, Guam, and USVI are 23 cents/min. Minimum usage fee may vary and applies if usage is less than $20.00. $2.00/mo fee for inbound toll free service, per account. FCC imposed USF fee of 7.71% and a PICC fees apply: $3.25/line for additional Commercial lines (the first commercial line and all residential lines are free of charge). All residential orders for customers in California and South Dakota must be voice verified regardless of whether or not an offline order has been submitted. The customer may use the voice verification system which is already in place, or may verify by using the new dial-in option at (877)455-9964, where a verification # will be given and reported on the LOA by the customer/agent. Commercial accounts will not be effected by this new process.

Q. What are the USF (Universal
Service Fund) and PICC fees?
A.) The FCC imposed PICC fee is $3.25/line for additional Commercial lines.The 1st commercial line and all residential lines are free of charge). The FCC imposed USF of 6.71% will be charged on all interstate and international calls. Most telecoms profit from this Federaltax by charging 9.9% for this fee! OPEX charges the bare minimum.
Q.OPEX, selling calling cards?
A.) The rate is currently 14.9¢ per minute. All calling card calls will be included in your monthly bill.
Q. How will I know if I'm switched to OPEX?
A.)You can call (toll free) 1-700-555-4141 and listen for Frontieror Global Crossing.
Q. Does OPEX credit switching fees?
A.) You must call customer service and tell them the amount per line and the total charged on your local phone bill which is needed to switching fees. You will be delivered a credit for that amount on your next OPEX long distance bill.
Q. How long does provisioning take?
A.)about 4 to 10 days for the switch-over to take any effect.
